TRSim2 –
The next generation Team Roping Simulator Game for your PC
The ultimate team roping game with an online roping community. It works on any Windows XP or Vista 1 Ghz
computer with at least 64Mb video card.
The
original Team Roping Simulator game for PCs was released in 2002 and has sold
over 7,000 copies over the past six years. The new game has features that any
team roping fan won’t want to miss. It’s fun for all ages and even those who
have never team roped. This game is a complete re-design that leap frogs the
original with amazing graphics, more options, and the popular online
multi-player feature.
Players can
head, heel, switch ends or partner online with other people. Multiple ropers,
at the same time, can rope against or with each other in the same 3D world.
RopingArena.com has events where players can join or host their own events. The
online community of TRSim2 is expected to grow dramatically.
"The
graphics, features, and new online gaming option make this a must have for
rodeo fans" said Matt Anderson, Pennsylvania team roper. "Being from
back east, the opportunity to rope is scarce and this simulator substitutes as
a great training tool."
Players
practice their team roping skills with a click-of-the-mouse. The game has three
levels – amateur, rookie and contender – before the professional level. As
players develop faster runs and work through the levels, they have more
features to enjoy. Points and computer-simulated prizes are awarded for winning
times.
It’s just
like the real deal, but on your computer. Headers need to watch the barrier and
reach if they want to, while heelers need to be ready on the corner and
"in-time" to catch two feet. Steers run and hop differently adding to
the realism. There is even a unique "Pasture Roping" event.
"Not
only is it fun to play, it is also a great training aid," said Bret Trenary, NFR Qualifier and PRCA cowboy with over 40 years
experience in team roping. "You are basically in total control of your
horse, just like in real life. You can head, heel, or do both. You can crossfire,
semi-cross, or just kick in there and catch. You can practice by yourself or
get online and rope with a robo-partner or team up
with someone else from somewhere else. There are several different arenas with
different score lengths and all types of steers to rope. This game is so close
to the real deal, all you need to do is exchange the reins for the
keyboard."
